A coolant leak detection method of a vehicle battery cooling apparatus comprises the following steps. A controller receives a first pressure value from a first pressure sensor detecting pressure inside a coolant pipe moving the coolant introduced to a battery of the vehicle battery cooling apparatus. The controller determines whether leak of the coolant is occurred in the coolant pipe through which the coolant moving through the battery flows based on the first pressure value. According to the present invention, leak of the coolant is detected by using the pressure sensor.

    차량용 배터리 냉각 장치의 냉각수 누수 검출 방법은, 제어기가 상기 차량용 배터리 냉각 장치의 배터리에 유입하는 냉각수를 이동시키는 냉각수 배관 내의 압력을 검출하는 제1 압력 센서로부터 제1 압력값을 수신하는 단계와, 상기 제어기가 상기 제1 압력값에 근거하여 상기 배터리를 통해 이동하는 냉각수가 흐르는 냉각수 배관에서 상기 냉각수의 누수가 발생하는 지 여부를 판단하는 단계를 포함한다.
