The present invention relates to a charging inlet lock control apparatus and a method thereof. The charging inlet lock control apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a charging inlet including an input unit provided at a position where a pressure is determined according to a type of a connector of a charging cable, and provided to be fastened to the connector; an On Board Charger (OBC) which generates an inlet lock release signal when the input unit is pressed by the connector; and a control unit for unlocking the charging inlet when the inlet lock release signal is received. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent an increase in a charging standby time by controlling locking of the charging inlet according to the charging method.
본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 충전 인렛 잠금 제어 장치는 충전 케이블의 커넥터의 종류에 따라 가압 여부가 결정되는 위치에 구비되는 입력부를 포함하며, 상기 커넥터와 체결 가능하도록 마련되는 충전 인렛과, 상기 커넥터에 의해 상기 입력부가 가압되면 인렛잠금 해제신호를 생성하는 OBC(On Board Charger) 및 상기 인렛잠금 해제신호가 수신되면, 상기 충전 인렛의 잠금을 해제하는 제어부를 포함하여, 충전 방식에 따라 충전 인렛의 잠금을 제어하여 충전 대기 시간이 증가되는 것을 방지할 수 있다.
