The present invention relates to a method for surveying traffic volume by vehicle type based on an image, which comprises: a step of detecting individual vehicle information included in an individual frame of an input image; a step of detecting routes of the individual vehicle using individual vehicle information detected in frames of the input image and frames of the image; a step of grouping the detected routes of the vehicle based on a similarity of a driving direction; and a step of calculating traffic volume information by vehicle type using a route number included in each grouped route of the vehicle.

    본 발명은 영상 기반 차종별 교통량 조사 방법에 관한 것으로, 입력되는 동영상의 개별 프레임에 포함된 개별 차량 정보를 검출하는 단계; 상기 입력된 동영상의 프레임들과 상기 동영상의 프레임들 내에서 검출된 개별 차량 정보를 이용하여 상기 각 개별 차량의 경로를 검출하는 단계; 진행 방향의 유사성에 기초하여 검출한 차량의 경로를 군집화하는 단계; 및 상기 각 군집화된 차량의 경로에 포함된 경로 개수를 이용하여 차량 종류별 통행량 정보를 산출하는 단계를 포함한다.
