The present invention relates to an autonomous driving control apparatus and, more particularly, to a technology for more precisely controlling an autonomous driving apparatus by simultaneously using both of wireless access in vehicle environment (WAVE)(DSRC) vehicle to everything (V2X) communication and cellular vehicle to everything (C-V2X) communication. According to one embodiment of the present invention, an operation method of an autonomous driving control apparatus implementing an integrated application comprises the steps of: determining whether to perform communication between vehicles, on the basis of a simultaneous communication mode in which an integrated application simultaneously supports the WAVE V2X communication and the C-V2X communication; when it is determined to perform the communication between vehicles on the basis of the simultaneous communication mode, transmitting a WAVE short message (WSM) payload to a security module included in the autonomous driving control apparatus, by the integrated application to perform the WAVE V2X communication; and when it is determined to perform the communication between vehicles on the basis of the simultaneous communication mode, transmitting an internet protocol version 6 (IPv6) packet to an integrated low layer interface (LLI) included in the autonomous driving control apparatus, by the integrated application to perform the C-V2X communication.

    본 발명은 자율주행 제어장치에 관한 것으로서, 구체적으로는 WAVE(DSRC) V2X 통신과 C-V2X 통신 기술 두 개를 동시에 사용하여 자율주행장치를 보다 정밀하게 제어하는 기술에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 통합 어플리케이션이 구현되는 자율주행 제어장치의 동작방법에 있어서, 상기 통합 어플리케이션이 WAVE V2X(Wireless Access in Vehicle Environment Vehicle to Everything) 통신과 C-V2X(Cellular Vehicle to Everything) 통신을 동시에 지원하는 동시 통신 모드에 기반하여 차량 간 통신을 수행할지 결정하는 단계; 상기 동시 통신 모드에 기반하여 차량 간 통신을 수행하기로 결정되면, 상기 WAVE V2X 통신을 수행하기 위해 상기 통합 어플리케이션이 WSM 페이로드(WAVE short message payload)를 상기 자율주행 제어장치에 포함되는 보안 모듈로 전송하는 단계; 및 상기 동시 통신 모드에 기반하여 차량 간 통신을 수행하기로 결정되면, C-V2X 통신을 수행하기 위해 상기 통합 어플리케이션이 IPv6 패킷(Internet Protocol version 6 Packet)을 상기 자율주행 제어장치에 포함되는 통합 LLI(Low Layer Interface)로 전송하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
