The present invention relates to a method for providing traffic congestion pattern information. The method for providing traffic congestion pattern information in a device for analyzing traffic information from a road network image of the present invention includes the steps of: collecting road network images including traffic information; generating a binary mask image according to a congestion criterion for each road segment of the road network image; extracting a congested road segment from the binary mask image; designating a divided congested road group to which two or more congested road segments are connected; and calculating a correlation between congested road groups at different times.

    본 발명은 교통 혼잡 패턴 정보를 제공하는 방법에 관한 것으로서, 본 발명의 도로망 이미지로부터 교통 정보를 분석하는 장치에서 교통 혼잡 패턴 정보 제공 방법은, 교통 정보를 포함하는 도로망 이미지를 수집하는 단계; 상기 도로망 이미지의 각 도로 세그먼트에 대하여 혼잡 기준에 따른 바이너리 마스크 이미지를 생성하는 단계; 상기 바이너리 마스크 이미지로부터 혼잡도로 세그먼트를 추출하는 단계; 2이상의 상기 혼잡도로 세그먼트가 연결된 구분된 혼잡도로그룹을 지정하는 단계; 및 서로 다른 시간의 혼잡도로그룹 간의 상관도를 계산하는 단계를 포함한다.
