PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facility congestion degree information providing device and a facility congestion degree information providing method that achieve estimation of a congestion degree for respective facilities even when the amount of data on available location information is small.SOLUTION: A facility congestion degree information providing device 100 according to the present invention comprises: a facility type estimation section 11 that calculates stay-time-related information for each facility on the basis of stay time of users for each facility acquired, estimates a facility type for each facility on the basis of the stay-time-related information, and estimates the corresponding relationship between the number of people staying and average stay time for each facility; a facility type storage section 12 that stores the corresponding relationship between the number of people staying and average stay time for each facility; a location information acquisition section 1 that acquires present stay information for each facility; and a congestion degree estimation section 22 that acquires the corresponding relationship between the number of people staying and average stay time and the present stay information for each facility and estimates a congestion degree for each facility on the basis of the corresponding relationship between the number of people staying and average stay time and the present stay information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】利用できる位置情報のデータが少ない場合でも、施設単位の混雑度を推定することができる施設混雑度情報提供装置及び施設混雑度情報提供方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係る施設混雑度情報提供装置100は、取得した施設毎に滞在するユーザの滞在時間に基づいて施設毎の滞在時間関連情報を計算し滞在時間関連情報に基づいて施設毎の施設タイプを推定し施設毎の滞在人数と平均滞在時間との対応関係を推定する施設タイプ推定部11と、滞在人数と平均滞在時間との対応関係を施設毎に記憶する施設タイプ記憶部12と、を備え、位置情報取得部1は施設毎の現在の滞在情報を取得し、滞在人数と平均滞在時間との対応関係及び現在の滞在情報をそれぞれ施設毎に取得し、これらに基づいて施設毎の混雑度を推定する混雑度推定部22を備える。【選択図】図1
