In accordance with one embodiment, an electronic parking brake system, which is an electronic parking brake system including a first electronic parking brake (EPB) operated by a first motor and a second EPB operated by a second motor, includes: a main current sensor detecting a current of a battery; a first current sensor detecting a first current supplied from the battery to the first EPB; a second current sensor detecting a second current supplied from the battery to the second EPB; and a control part determining a malfunctioning current sensor among the main current sensor, the first current sensor and the second current sensor based on the battery current detected by the main current sensor, the first current detected by the first current sensor, and the second current detected by the second current sensor when the first EPB and the second EPB are individually operated. Therefore, the present invention is capable of more efficiently detecting malfunction of the current sensor.

    일실시예에 따른 전자식 주차 브레이크 시스템은 제1 모터에 의해 작동하는 제1 EPB(Electronic Parking Brake)와 제2 모터에 의해 작동하는 제2 EPB를 포함하는 전자식 주차 브레이크 시스템에 있어서, 배터리의 전류를 검출하는 메인 전류센서와, 배터리로부터 상기 제1 EPB에 공급되는 제1 전류를 검출하는 제1 전류센서와, 배터리로부터 제2 EPB에 공급되는 제2 전류를 검출하는 제2 전류센서 및 제1 EPB와 상기 제2 EPB를 개별 작동시킬 때, 메인 전류센서에 의해 검출된 배터리 전류, 제1 전류센서에 의해 검출된 제1 전류 및 제2 전류센서에 의해 검출된 제2 전류를 근거로 메인 전류센서, 제1 전류센서 및 제2 전류센서 중에서 고장인 전류센서를 판단하는 제어부를 포함한다.
