Provided is a system for controlling traffic of various transport vehicles in a shipbuilding yard or a port yard. A system for controlling vehicle traffic in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a traffic control server generating traffic signals based on image data on a traffic state of a crossroad on a port yard; and a yard signal controller receiving the traffic signals from the traffic control server. Therefore, the present invention provides the traffic signals to the vehicle under an environment such as the shipbuilding yard and the port yard in which traffic lights are difficult to install, such that the risk of accidents can be alleviated and expense of unnecessary personnel like a signalman can be reduced, and provides control for a preferred vehicle with high priority with respect to a passage rather than other vehicles such that the preferred vehicle can quickly pass, thereby enhancing work efficiency within the shipbuilding yard or the port.

    조선소, 항만 야드 내 다양한 운송수단들의 교통 관제 시스템이 제공된다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른, 차량 교통 관제 시스템은 항만 야드 내 교차로의 교통상황에 대한 영상 데이터를 기반으로 교통 신호를 생성하는 교통 관제 서버; 및 교통 관제 서버로부터 교통 신호를 수신하는 야드 신호 제어기;를 포함한다. 이에 의해, 조선소, 항만 야드와 같이 신호등을 설치하기 어려운 환경에서의 차량에 교통신호를 제공함으로써, 사고 위험을 경감시키고, 신호수와 같이 불필요한 인력 소비를 줄일 수 있으며, 다른 차량보다 통행에 대한 우선순위가 높은 우선 차량에 대한 제어를 제공하여, 우선 차량이 빠르게 통행할 수 있도록 함으로써, 조선소, 항만 내 업무 효율이 향상되도록 할 수 있다.
