Disclosed is a ship having an improved control performance. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the ship having the improved control performance comprises: a ship body; a propeller placed on a rear side of a stern boss unit of the ship body; a rudder placed on a rear side of the propeller; an auxiliary rudder force generation unit which is placed between the stern boss unit and a stern inclination unit placed on an upper side from the stern boss unit of the ship body in front of the propeller, and which is rotatably supported by the ship body to rotate around a rotary central shaft extended vertically; and a driving unit which provides driving force for the auxiliary rudder force generation unit to rotate. The auxiliary rudder force generation unit stops the rotation when the ship body moves straightforward, and rotates to generate an auxiliary rudder force in the same direction as the direction of the main rudder force generated by the rudder when the ship body navigates by turning around.

    조종성능이 향상된 선박이 개시된다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 조종성능이 향상된 선박은 선체; 상기 선체의 선미보스부 후방에 배치되는 프로펠러; 상기 프로펠러의 후방에 배치되는 러더; 상기 프로펠러의 전방에서 상기 선미보스부와 상기 선체의 상기 선미보스부 상측에 위치하는 선미경사부 사이에 배치되고, 상하방향으로 연장되는 회전중심축을 중심으로 회전하도록 상기 선체에 회전 가능하게 지지되는 보조타력발생부; 및 상기 보조타력발생부가 회전동작하도록 구동력을 제공하는 구동부를 포함하고, 상기 보조타력발생부는, 상기 선체가 직진운항할 때 회전동작을 중지하고, 상기 선체가 선회운항할 때 상기 러더가 발생시키는 메인타력과 같은 방향으로 보조타력을 발생시키도록 회전동작한다.
