The present invention relates to an automatic parking control device and a method thereof, and is to provide an automatic parking control device and a method therefor, capable of improving the commerciality of an automatic parking system mounted on a vehicle by inducing passengers to get off before the automatic parking is completed in consideration of the passenger′s alighting area when the vehicle is automatically parked, so that passengers do not have any inconvenience in getting off. To this end, according to the present invention, the automatic parking control device comprises: a first sensor for measuring a distance from an obstacle; and a control unit which searches for a parking space based on the distance data measured by the first sensor, and induces a passenger to get off in consideration of an alighting area within a target parking space among the searched parking spaces.

    본 발명은 자동 주차 제어 장치 및 그 방법에 관한 것으로, 차량의 자동 주차시 탑승자의 하차공간을 고려하여 자동 주차가 완료되기 전에 탑승자의 하차를 유도함으로써, 탑승자가 하차하는데 불편함이 없게 하여 차량에 탑재되는 자동 주차 시스템의 상품성을 향상시킬 수 있는 자동 주차 제어 장치 및 그 방법을 제공하고자 한다. 이를 위하여, 본 발명은 자동 주차 제어 장치에 있어서, 장애물과의 거리를 측정하는 제1 센서; 및 상기 제1 센서에 의해 측정된 거리 데이터에 기초하여 주차공간을 탐색하고, 상기 탐색된 주차공간 중에서 목표 주차공간 내 하차공간을 고려하여 탑승자의 하차를 유도하는 제어부를 포함한다.
