The present disclosure relates to electric vehicle charging, and more specifically to a method of improving the efficiency of charging time by properly distributing fast charging and slow charging. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method of improving the efficiency of charging time through fast and slow charging comprises: a first step of determining whether an external power source for charging is connected to an electric vehicle; a second step of checking whether a refrigerator of the electric vehicle is turned off; a third step of turning on an on-board charger (OBC) in the electric vehicle when it is checked in the second step that the refrigerator is turned off; a fourth step of determining a charge rate of a battery of the electric vehicle by measuring the voltage of the battery when the OBC is turned on; and a fifth step of performing charging with a high current when the charge rate of the battery is equal to or lower than a certain level.

    본 개시내용은 전기차 충전에 대한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 고속충전과 저속충전을 적절히 분배하여 충전시간을 효율화하기 위한 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 개시내용의 일 실시예에 의하면, 전기차에 충전을 위한 외부 전원이 접속되었는 지 판단하는 제 1단계, 전기차의 냉동기가 오프(OFF)되었는지 확인하는 제 2단계, 상기 제 2단계에서 냉동기가 오프(OFF)되어 있는 경우 전기차에 있는 OBC(On-Board Charger)을 온(ON)하는 제 3단계, 상기 OBC가 온(ON)된 경우 전기차 배터리의 전압을 측정하여 배터리의 충전율을 판단하는 제 4단계, 상기 배터리의 충전율이 일정수준이하인 경우 고전류로 충전을 수행하는 제 5단계;를 포함하는 고속 및 저속 충전을 통한 충전시간효율화 방법를 포함한다.
