The present invention relates to a waste heat recovery system for an engine coolant of a ship. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the waste heat recovery system for an engine coolant of a ship, which recovers waste heat generated from an engine of a ship and supplies the waste heat to each source of demand, comprises: a waste heat recovery system unit formed to recover waste heat through heat exchange with an engine coolant; an engine coolant system unit formed to circulate and flow the engine coolant; a heat exchanger installed between the waste heat recovery system unit and the engine coolant system unit, and performing heat exchange to recover the waste heat from the engine coolant flowing along the engine coolant system unit to the waste heat recovery system unit; and a controller for controlling waste heat recovery of the waste heat recovery system unit by comparing the temperature of the engine coolant after heat exchange in the heat exchanger with a preset reference temperature. Accordingly, the waste heat can be more efficiently recovered.

    본 발명은 선박의 엔진 냉각수 폐열 회수 시스템에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 실시예에 따르는 선박의 엔진 냉각수 폐열 회수 시스템은 선박의 엔진으로부터 발생되는 폐열을 회수하여 각 소요처에 공급하는 선박의 엔진 냉각수 폐열 회수 시스템으로서, 엔진 냉각수와의 열교환을 통해 폐열을 회수하도록 형성된 폐열 회수 계통부, 엔진 냉각수를 순환 유동시키도록 형성된 엔진 냉각수 계통부, 상기 폐열 회수 계통부와 상기 엔진 냉각수 계통부 사이에 설치되어, 상기 엔진 냉각수 계통부를 따라 유동하는 엔진 냉각수로부터 상기 폐열 회수 계통부에 폐열을 회수시키도록 열교환 되는 열교환기, 및 상기 열교환기에서의 열교환 후의 엔진 냉각수 온도를 기 설정된 기준온도와 비교하여 상기 폐열 회수 계통부의 폐열 회수를 제어하는 컨트롤러를 포함한다.
