Provided is a camera system of an autonomous vehicle that can guarantee image quality even in a high illuminance condition. The provided system comprises: a camera module; a liquid crystal panel installed in front of the camera module; an illuminance sensor that senses ambient illuminance; and a liquid crystal driving part that adjusts the transmittance of the entire area of the liquid crystal panel according to the illuminance value sensed by the illuminance sensor, wherein the camera module acquires an image of a subject in front through the liquid crystal panel of which the transmittance is adjusted.

    고조도의 상황에서도 영상 화질을 보장해 줄 수 있도록 하는 자율 주행 차량의 카메라 시스템을 제시한다. 제시된 시스템은 카메라 모듈, 카메라 모듈의 전방에 설치된 액정 판넬, 주변 조도를 센싱하는 조도 센서, 및 조도 센서에서 센싱된 조도값에 따라 액정 판넬의 전체 영역에 대한 투과율을 조절하는 액정 구동부를 포함하고, 카메라 모듈은 투과율이 조절된 액정 판넬을 매개로 전방의 피사체에 대한 영상을 획득한다.
