The present invention relates to a vehicle fuel gauge operation control device and a method thereof. The object of the present invention is to provide the vehicle fuel gauge operation control device and the method thereof, which can improve correspondence of a fuel gauge to a remaining fuel amount in a high-load driving mode with a high fuel consumption rate by selectively applying a damping time of a fuel gauge according to a vehicle driving mode classified on the basis of response time of the fuel gauge and the damping time, and fundamentally prevent incorrect indication in the fuel gauge.

    본 발명은 차량용 연료게이지의 작동 제어 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 연료게이지의 응답시간과 댐핑타임을 기준으로 구분되는 차량의 주행모드에 따라 연료게이지의 댐핑타임을 선택적으로 적용하여 연료소비율이 높은 고부하 주행모드에서 연료잔량에 대한 연료게이지의 추종성을 개선하고 연료게이지의 오지침 문제를 근본적으로 방지하는 차량용 연료게이지의 작동 제어 장치 및 방법을 제공하는데 목적이 있다.
