Provided is a control method of a battery including a relay which can accurately estimate a temperature of a relay. The control method of the battery comprises the steps of: measuring an initial temperature of a shunt resistor connected on a charge/discharge path of a battery; measuring a current temperature of the shunt resistor; estimating a temperature of a relay using a difference between the current temperature and the initial temperature of the shunt resistor; and determining whether the estimated temperature of the relay exceeds a first temperature.

    릴레이를 포함한 배터리의 제어 방법으로서, 상기 배터리의 충방전 경로상에 연결된 션트 저항의 초기 온도를 측정하는 단계; 상기 션트 저항의 현재 온도를 측정하는 단계; 상기 션트 저항의 현재 온도와 상기 초기 온도의 차를 이용하여 상기 릴레이의 온도를 추정하는 단계; 및 상기 추정된 릴레이의 온도가 제1 온도를 초과하는지 판단하는 단계를 포함한다.
