The present invention relates to an optimum sea route prediction supporting system and a method thereof. The method comprises the steps of: receiving a vessel data material and additionally calculating a submerged surface area by using a simple equation; receiving the vessel data material and a marine weather material to calculate resistance under a calm water condition, wind resistance, steering resistance, drift resistance, shallow water resistance, and resistance of hull surface roughness and additionally, calculating added resistance due to waves by using another simple equation; estimating propulsion performance of a vessel by aggregating the resistance calculation results and calculating a propulsion coefficient; calculating a regression equation of a marine vessel accident risk index by time period and by vessel accident type through a binary logistic regression model by using a vessel sailing material and a marine weather material that have been made in the past; and estimating a marine vessel accident risk index by time period and by vessel accident type through the regression equation of a marine vessel accident risk index, which is calculated by using a vessel sailing material and a marine weather material at a specific time including past, present, or future. Accordingly, the optimum sea route prediction supporting system and the method thereof can efficiently calculate and estimate the propulsion performance of a vessel.

    본 발명은 최적 항로 예측 지원 시스템 및 그 방법에 관한 것으로, 특히 선박 제원 자료를 입력받고 추가로 간단한 수학식을 이용하여 침수표면적을 산출하고; 선박 제원 자료와 해양기상 자료를 입력받아 정수중 저항, 바람 저항, 조종 저항, 표류 저항, 천수 저항, 선체표면거칠기 저항을 산출하고, 추가로 또 다른 간단한 수학식을 이용하여 파랑중 부가저항을 산출하고; 상기 저항 산출 결과를 종합하고 추진계수를 산출하여 선박의 추진성능을 추정하며; 상기 과거 선박 운항 자료와 상기 과거 해양기상 자료를 이용하여 이항형 로지스틱 회귀모형을 통해 시간대별, 유형별 해양 선박 사고 위험지수 회귀식을 산출하며; 특정 시간(과거, 현재 또는 미래)의 선박 운항 자료와 해양기상 자료를 이용하여 산출된 상기 해양 선박 사고 위험지수 회귀식을 통해 시간대별, 선박 사고 유형별 해양 선박 사고 위험지수를 추정하는 최적 항로 예측 지원 시스템 및 그 방법에 관한 것이다.
