The present invention discloses a polyethylene resin for an injection-type buoyant body for floating a photovoltaic power plant on the water surface and, more specifically, a polyethylene resin for a buoyant body, having excellent physical properties such as stiffness and impact resistance so that the buoyant body can be molded through a simpler molding method and can be used in the long term. The present invention provides the polyethylene resin for a buoyant body, the resin having a density of 0.955-0.960 g/cm^3, a melt flow index (ASTM D1238, 190°C, 2.16 kgf) of 1-5 g/10min, a weight average molecular weight of 150,000-200,000 g/mol, and molecular weight distribution (Mw / Mn) of 6 or less.

    태양광 발전 시설을 수상에 부상시키기 위한 사출형 부력체용 폴리에틸렌 수지로서, 보다 간단한 성형 방법을 통해 부력체가 성형될 수 있고, 장기적으로 사용이 가능하도록 강성, 내충격성 등의 물성이 우수한 부력체용 폴리에틸렌 수지가 개시된다. 본 발명은 밀도가 0.955~0.960g/㎤이고, 용융흐름지수(ASTM D1238, 190℃, 2.16kgf)가 1~5g/10분이고, 중량평균분자량이 150,000~200,000g/mol이고, 분자량 분포(Mw/Mn)가 6 이하인 부력체용 폴리에틸렌 수지를 제공한다.
