The present invention relates to a drunk driving prevention system and more specifically, to a drunk driving prevention system which measures whether a driver is drunk and provides a result of the measurement to the drive, thereby preventing a drunk driver from driving. According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the drunk driving prevention system comprises: a measurement unit (1) configured to measure biometric information of a driver; a transmission control unit (2) configured to restrict the operation of a transmission of a vehicle or release the operation restriction; and a control unit (3) configured to determine whether the driver is drunk by comparing the biometric information of the driver measured by the measurement unit with a preset reference value, and output a control signal to limit the transmission of the vehicle or release the operation result based on a result of the determination. The measurement unit (1) is installed on a steering wheel of the vehicle and can measure blood alcohol concentration, which is biometric information, through the driver′s breath immediately after starting the vehicle. Alternatively, the measurement unit (1) may be installed on a longitudinal upper portion of the transmission of the vehicle and measure the biometric information of the driver by contact with the driver′s finger. In this case, the biometric information may include one or more, among a driver′s heart rate, blood pressure, and blood alcohol concentration. The drunk driving prevention system may further comprise a notification unit (4) configured to provide to the driver the determination of whether the driver is drunk determined by the control unit (3).

    본 발명은 음주운전 방지시스템에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 운전자의 음주 여부를 측정하고 상기 측정된 결과를 운전자에게 제공하여 음주를 한 운전자가 운전을 하지 못하도록 하는 음주운전 방지시스템에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예에 따른 음주운전 방지시스템은 운전자의 생체 정보를 측정하는 측정부(1); 차량의 변속기의 동작을 제한하거나 동작 제한을 해제하는 변속기 제어부(2); 및 상기 측정부에 의해 측정된 운전자의 생체 정보와 기설정된 기준값을 비교하여, 운전자의 음주 여부를 판단하고, 판단 결과에 따라 차량의 변속기를 제한하거나 동작 제한을 해제하는 제어신호를 출력하는 제어부(3);를 포함할 수 있다. 이때, 상기 측정부(1)는 차량의 핸들에 설치되어 시동 직후 운전자의 호흡을 통해 생체 정보인 혈중알코올농도를 측정할 수 있다. 또는, 상기 측정부(1)는 차량의 변속기의 길이방향 상부에 설치되고, 운전자의 손가락이 접촉되어 운전자의 생체 정보를 측정할 수 있다. 이 경우, 상기 생체 정보는 운전자의 심박수, 혈압 및 혈중알코올농도 중에서 어느 하나 이상을 포함할 수 있다. 한편, 상기 제어부(3)에 의해 판단된 운전자의 음주운전 여부를 운전자에게 제공하는 알림부(4);를 더 포함할 수 있다.
