The present invention relates to a driving optimization method of an electric vehicle, which calculates a travelable distance of an electric vehicle to allow a driver to recognize the travelable distance, and induces the electric vehicle to reach a destination in a state of minimizing the consumption of power charged in a battery. According to the present invention, the driving optimization method of an electric vehicle includes: a power saving mode setting step (S120) of controlling the driving of an electric vehicle (1) by minimizing consumed energy if the state-of-charge (SOC) of a high voltage battery (20) is equal to or less than a predetermined SOC; a driving energy calculating step (S130) of allowing the control unit (10) of the electric vehicle (1) to calculate driving energy (E_T) required for driving from the current location to the destination; a destination reachability determining step (S140) of determining whether it is possible to drive to the destination with the energy of the high voltage battery (20); and a destination reachable vehicle speed range calculating step (S150) of calculating the maximum speed and the minimum speed for reaching the destination.

    본 발명은 전기자동차의 주행가능 거리를 연산하여 운전자가 인지할 수 있도록 하고, 상기 전기자동차가 배터리에 충전된 전력을 최소로 소모하는 상태로 목적지에 도달 할 수 있도록 유도하는 전기자동차의 주행 최적화 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 전기자동차의 주행 최적화 방법은, 고전압 배터리(20)의 SOC(state of charge)가 정해진 SOC 이하 이면, 소모되는 에너지를 최소화하여 전기자동차(1)의 주행을 제어하는 초절전 모드 설정 단계(S120)와, 상기 전기자동차(1)의 제어부(10)가 현재 위치로부터 목적지까지 주행에 필요한 주행 에너지(E)를 계산하는 주행 에너지 연산 단계(S130)와, 상기 고전압 배터리(20)의 에너지로 상기 목적지까지 주행할 수 있는 지를 판단하는 목적지 도달 가능 판단 단계(S140)와, 상기 목적지까지 도달할 수 있는 최대 속도와 최소 속도를 연산하는 목적지 도달 가능 차속 범위 연산단계(S150)를 포함한다.
