A control method for improving fuel efficiency by an electric field load classification method in an eco-friendly vehicle of the present invention corrects the power consumption of an auxiliary electric field load detected in an auto mode, and controls the auto mode in a state in which the set value of engine start reference power is lowered by using the linearity of the power consumption of the auxiliary electric field load to greatly improve engine utilization against the auto mode in which the set value is maintained, thereby improving fuel efficiency when driving at medium and long distances longer than all electric range.

    본 발명의 친환경차량에서 전장부하구분방식 연비향상이 이루어지는 제어방법은 오토모드(Auto Mode)에서 검출된 보조전장부하 소모파워를 보정하고, 보조전장부하 소모파워에 대한 선형성(linearity)을 이용하여 엔진기동 기준파워의 설정치를 낮 게 가져간 상태로 오토모드(Auto Mode)가 제어됨으로써 설정치가 유지되는 오토모드 대비 엔진 활용성을 크게 높여 순수전기주행거리(All Electric Range) 보다 긴 중장거리 주행시 연비 개선이 이루어지는 특징을 갖는다.
