The present invention relates to a dual battery control device using a lithium battery and a lead acid battery, which restricts the use of energy of a lithium battery when a vehicle having a dual battery system using the lithium battery and a lead acid battery stops, thereby preventing the battery life from being reduced by standby power of a black box and electronic components and preventing a situation where the vehicle cannot start due to battery discharge, and a method of the dual battery control device. The dual battery control device using a lithium battery and a lead acid battery comprises: a dual battery including the lead acid battery and the lithium battery; a control unit selectively controlling the lithium battery of the dual battery supplying power to electronic component loads according to an ignition key state signal generated from a starting device generating the ignition key state signal of the vehicle; and a relay connecting or disconnecting power lines between the lithium battery of the dual battery and the electronic component loads.

    리튬전지와 납축전지를 이용하는 듀얼 배터리 시스템을 구비한 차량에서, 차량 정차 시 리튬전지의 에너지 사용을 제한하여, 블랙박스 및 다른 전장부품들의 대기전력으로 인하여 배터리의 수명이 단축되는 것을 방지하고, 배터리의 방전으로 인한 차량의 시동 불가능 상황을 미리 방지하도록 한 리튬전지와 납축전지를 이용한 듀얼 배터리 제어장치 및 그 방법에 관한 것으로서, 납축전지와 리튬전지를 포함하는 듀얼 배터리, 차량의 시동키 상태신호를 발생하는 시동 장치로부터 발생한 시동키 상태신호에 따라 전장 부하에 전력을 공급하는 듀얼 배터리 중 리튬전지를 선택적으로 제어하는 제어부 및 듀얼 배터리의 배터리 중 리튬전지와 전장부하 간의 전원 라인을 연결 또는 차단하는 릴레이를 포함하여, 리튬전지와 납축전지를 이용한 듀얼 배터리 제어장치를 구현한다.
