The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for controlling regenerative braking of a vehicle. According to the present invention, an apparatus for controlling regenerative braking of a vehicle comprises: a sensor unit detecting information about forward driving environment; a calculation unit calculating an estimated time-to-collision between a forward vehicle and an ego vehicle when the forward vehicle is detected by the sensor unit; a determination unit comparing a first regenerative braking level determined based on the estimated time-to-collision with a second regenerative braking level determined based on distance information about the forward vehicle, and determining a final regenerative braking level depending on the compared result; and a driving control unit controlling regenerative braking drive based on the determined final regenerative braking level.

    본 발명은 차량의 회생 제동 제어 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 차량의 회생 제동 제어 장치는, 전방의 주행 환경 정보를 검출하는 센서부, 상기 센서부에 의해 전방 차량이 검출되면, 상기 전방 차량과 자차량의 충돌 예상 시간을 연산하는 연산부, 상기 충돌 예상 시간에 기초하여 결정된 제1 회생 제동 단계 및 상기 전방 차량의 거리 정보에 기초하여 결정된 제2 회생 제동 단계를 비교하고, 비교 결과에 따라 최종 회생 제동 단계를 결정하는 판단부, 및 상기 결정된 최종 회생 제동 단계에 기초하여 회생 제동 주행을 제어하는 주행 제어부를 포함한다.
