The present invention relates to a hub vortex cavitation reducing rudder bulb, which is coupled to a rudder of a ship. The hub vortex cavitation reducing rudder bulb comprises: a bulb head formed by a planation surface having the same diameter with a propeller cap end portion of the ship and facing the propeller cap end portion of the ship; and a bulb body cylindrically straightly extended to the rudder. According to the present invention, provided is the hub vortex cavitation reducing rudder bulb, which prevents damage to the rudder bulb and is easy to manufacture the rudder bulb by blocking a hub vortex concentrated on the rudder bulb.

    본 발명은 허브 볼텍스 캐비테이션 저감형 러더 벌브에 관한 것으로서, 선박의 러더에 결합되는 러더 벌브에 있어서, 선박의 프로펠러 캡 단부와 동일 직경을 가지는 평탄면으로 형성되어 선박의 프로펠러 캡 단부와 대면하는 벌브 헤드와; 러더까지 원통형으로 직선 연장되는 벌브 몸체로; 구성되는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 의하여 러더 벌브에 집중되는 허브 볼텍스를 차단시켜 러더 벌브의 손상을 방지하고 러더 벌브의 제작이 쉬운 허브 볼텍스 캐비테이션 저감형 러더 벌브가 제공되는 이점이 있다.
