The present invention discloses a backup oil overheating preventing apparatus for an engine. The backup oil overheating preventing apparatus for an engine includes: a tank unit including one or more tanks storing oil; a backup oil reducing pipe connected to the engine from the tank unit and forming a flow path through which backup oil flows; a supply pump installed in the backup oil reducing pipe and supplying the backup oil to the engine side; and a dropping unit connecting an exit side of the supply pump and an entry side of the tank unit and connecting an exit side of the tank unit and an entry side of the supply pump at the same time and preventing the overheated backup oil circulating the exit side and the entry side of the supply pump from raising temperature.
