The present invention relates to a real-time active forming method for an engine sound, applied to a vehicle (1). A dynamic characteristic of an engine in accordance with a motion of the engine (1-1) is applied to an engine sound based on the engine characteristic by a signal processing controller (10). The engine sound based on the engine characteristic is divided into output based on a driving mode, which is applied with the driving mode of the vehicle, and the output based on a vehicle speed applied with difference of a constant speed and acceleration of the vehicle. The output based on the driving mode and the output based on the vehicle speed are individually regenerated as the engine sound based on the engine characteristic in a speaker of a listening device (30). The real-time active forming method for an engine sound actively forms the sound in real time based on a value of an engine characteristic sensor measured in the real time. Specifically, the real-time active forming method for an engine sound maintains silence and generates the sound when the vehicle is driving at the constant speed. The real-time active forming method for an engine sound generates the various sounds when the vehicle accelerates. So, the real-time active forming method for an engine can provide the engine sound matched to an acceleration intention and a passing intention of a driver.

    본 발명의 차량(1)에 적용된 엔진음 실시간 능동 구현 방법은 신호처리 제어기(10)에 의해 엔진(1-1)의 동작에 따른 엔진동특성이 엔진특성기반 엔진음색에 적용되고, 상기 엔진특성기반 엔진음색이 차량의 운전모드를 적용한 운전모드기반 출력과 상기 차량의 정속과 가속의 차이를 적용한 차속기반 출력으로 구분되며, 상기 운전모드기반 출력과 상기 차속기반 출력이 각각 청각 장치(30)의 스피커에서 엔진특성기반 엔진음색으로 재생됨으로써 실시간 측정된 엔진 특성 센서값을 기반으로 하여 능동적인 실시간 사운드 구현이 이루어지고, 특히 차량의 정속주행시에는 정숙감을 유지 음색을 구현하다가 가속시에는 다양한 음색을 구현함으로써 운전자의 추월의지 및 가속의지에 어울리는 엔진음색 제공이 가능한 특징을 갖는다.
