The present invention relates to a charger for an electric vehicle. According to the present invention, the charger for an electric vehicle comprises: an AC/DC converter which receives AC power from a power supply source, converts the AC power into DC power, transfers the DC power to an energy storage unit, converts DC power supplied from the energy storage unit into AC power, and transfers the AC power to an electric vehicle; the energy storage unit which receives and stores the DC power converted at the AC/DC converter and transfers the stored DC power to the AC/DC converter; and a control unit provided to control an amount of electric power transferred to the AC/DC converter according to an amount of electric power stored in the energy storage unit and control a duty cycle of a control signal transferred to the electric vehicle according to a sum of an amount of electric power transferred from the AC/DC converter to the electric vehicle and an amount of electric power transferred from the power supply source to the electric vehicle. According to the present invention, it is possible to supply charging power to an electric vehicle in a stable manner using an energy storage system.

    본 발명은 전기 자동차용 충전기에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 전기 자동차용 충전기는, 전력공급원으로부터 교류전력을 공급받아 직류로 변환하여 에너지 저장부로 전달하고, 상기 에너지 저장부로부터 공급받은 직류 전력을 교류로 변환하여 전기 자동차에 전달하는 교류/직류 변환기; 상기 교류/직류 변환기로부터 변환된 직류 전력을 공급받아 저장해두고 저장해 둔 직류 전력을 상기 교류/직류 변환기에 전달하는 에너지 저장부; 및 상기 에너지 저장부에 저장된 전력량에 따라 상기 교류/직류 변환기로 전달되는 전력량을 조절하고, 상기 교류/직류 변환기에서 전기 자동차로 전달되는 전력량과 상기 전력공급원에서 전기 자동차로 전달되는 전력량의 합에 따라 전기 자동차로 전달되는 제어신호의 듀티 사이클을 조절하는 제어부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
