The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for calculating estimated time of arrival by reflecting turning cost, wherein the apparatus comprises: a GPS receiving unit receiving a GPS signal; a storage unit storing link information based on digital map data, and storing the history of traffic information for each link; and a control unit generating a daily turning cost calculating formula by reflecting real-time traffic information for each link, stored in the storage unit, and road attribute information, calculating a representative speed in which daily turning cost calculated by the daily turning cost calculating formula is reflected, and calculating the estimated time of arrival based on the representative speed.

    본 발명은 회전코스트를 반영한 도착예정시간 산출 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 지피에스 신호를 수신하는 지피에스 수신부; 디지털 지도 데이터에 기초하여 링크정보를 저장하고, 링크별 교통정보 이력을 저장하는 저장부; 및 상기 저장부에 저장된 링크별 실시간 교통정보, 및 도로의 속성 정보를 반영하여 일단위 회전코스트 산출식을 생성하며, 상기 일단위 회전코스트 산출식을 통해 산출된 일단위 회전코스트가 반영된 대표속도를 산출하고, 상기 대표속도를 바탕으로 도착예정시간을 산출하는 제어부;를 포함한다.
