The present invention relates to an installing method of a rectangular prism apparatus for observing propeller cavitation on a large cavitation tunnel, which is possible to clearly observe cavitation of a propeller positioned in left and right sides of an observation window rather than the front of the observation window as if looking at the front without visible light refraction and distortion by filling water into the rectangular prism after installing the rectangular prism on the observation window with respect to an experiment for observing the cavitation of the propeller on the large cavitation tunnel.

    본 발명은 대형 캐비테이션 터널에서 프로펠러의 캐비테이션을 관찰하기 위한 실험에 있어서, 관측창에 직각 프리즘을 설치한 후 직각 프리즘의 내부에 물을 충수함으로써, 관측창의 정면이 아닌 좌우측에 위치하는 프로펠러의 캐비테이션을 가시광 굴절 및 왜곡현상 없이 마치 정면에서 바라보는 것과 같이 선명하게 관찰할 수 있도록 하는, 대형 캐비테이션 터널에서 프로펠러 캐비테이션 관찰을 위한 직각 프리즘 장치의 설치 방법에 관한 것이다.
