According to an embodiment of the present invention, an active control method for recognition of traffic lights of an autonomous vehicle comprises the following steps of: determining whether a vehicle comes close to a crossroad at a predetermined distance based on position information of the vehicle; determining a movement record of a front vehicle stopped on the crossroad; and stopping the vehicle by maintaining a vehicle interval distance based on the movement record of the front vehicle.

    본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 자율주행차량의 신호등 인식을 위한 능동 제어 방법은 차량의 위치정보에 기초하여, 교차로에 기 설정된 거리만큼 근접하였는지 판단하는 단계 상기 교차로에 정차되어 있는 전방 차량의 이동 이력을 판단하는 단계 및 상기 전방 차량의 이동 이력에 기초하여 차간 거리를 유지하여 정차하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
