Provided are a system and a method for controlling battery charging for a vehicle which can maximize an increase in efficiency of an inverter, an electric motor, and a connector, and size, material costs, and weight reduction effects by solving a compatible problem through a converter when a battery voltage for a vehicle is different from an output voltage of a commercial high-speed battery charger.

    차량용 배터리 전압이 상용 급속충전기의 출력전압과 다른 경우 컨버터를 통해 호환성 문제를 해결함으로써, 인버터, 전기모터, 연결 커넥터의 효율 상승 및 사이즈, 재료비, 중량 저감 효과를 극대화 시킬 수 있는 차량용 배터리 충전 제어 시스템 및 방법이 소개된다.
