The present invention relates to a multi-level inverter device for reducing peak power. In order to reduce the peak power of a high-speed railway, provided is the multi-level inverter device for reducing peak power, capable of reducing the burden of a battery parallel string by configuring a plurality of independent DC power sources, reducing a volume and improving energy conversion efficiency in a system by directly connecting an H-bridge type multi-level inverter without using an additional DC/DC converter, and improving power quality and operation reliability by applying a switching technique for using uniform power of independent batteries and reducing a harmonic element of an output of a peak power reducing device.

    본 발명은 피크전력 저감용 멀티레벨 인버터 장치에 관한 것으로, 고속철도의 피크전력을 저감시키기 위해, 다수의 독립적인 DC전원을 구성하여 배터리 병렬 스트링의 부담을 줄이고, 별도의 DC/DC컨버터를 이용하지 않고 H-Bridge 타입의 멀티레벨 인버터를 직접 연결하여 시스템의 부피감소 및 에너지 변환효율을 높이고, 피크전력 저감장치 출력의 고조파 성분 저감과 독립된 배터리들의 균등한 전력사용을 위한 스위칭 기법을 적용하여 전력품질 향상 및 운영신뢰성을 도모한 피크전력 저감용 멀티레벨 인버터 장치를 제공함에 그 목적이 있다.
