An embodiment of the present invention is to provide an LNG ship operation management system and a management method thereof with which it is possible to minimize BOG loss and maximize LNG preservation during LNG ship operation. The LNG ship operation management system and the management method thereof according to the embodiment of the present invention include a navigation model providing unit for determining an optimal route based on weather information received from a weather center; a hold model providing unit for predicting at least one of a boil off gas (BOG) generation amount and a pressure change in the cargo hold based on weather information; a BOG/LNG processing model providing unit for processing at least one of BOG and liquefied natural gas (LNG) in accordance with the predicted BOG generation amount and pressure change in the cargo hold; and a control unit that receives navigation model information from the navigation model providing unit, receives hold model information from the hold model providing unit, receives BOG/LNG processing model information from the BOG/LNG processing model providing unit, and drives an LNG ship driving apparatus in correspondence with the model information among the navigation model information, the hold model information, and the BOG/LNG processing model information.

    LNG 선박 운항 관리 시스템 및 그 관리 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 LNG 선박 운항 관리 시스템 및 그 관리 방법은 기상 센터로부터 공급받은 기상 정보에 기초하여 최적 항로를 결정하는 항해모델 제공부; 기상 정보에 기초하여 BOG(Boil Off Gas) 발생량과 화물창내 압력 변화중 적어도 하나를 예측하는 화물창 모델 제공부; 예측한 BOG 발생량과 화물창내 압력 변화에 따라 BOG 및 LNG(Liquified Natural Gas)중 적어도 하나를 처리하는 BOG/LNG 처리 모델 제공부; 및 항해 모델 제공부로부터 항해 모델 정보를 공급받고, 화물창 모델 제공부로부터 화물창 모델 정보를 공급받으며, BOG/LNG 처리 모델 제공부로부터 BOG/LNG 처리 모델 정보를 공급받고, 항해 모델 정보와 화물창 모델 정보 및 BOG/LNG 처리 모델 정보중 해당 모델 정보에 대응하여 LNG 선박 구동 장치를 구동시키는 제어부를 포함한다.
