The present invention relates to a bus operation information providing system using a smartphone. The present invention comprises: a driver smartphone used by a driver operating a bus, and having a driver module for generating operation information of a bus from bus location information received through a GPS receiver and transmitting the generated operation information through a communications network; a general person smartphone used by a passenger using a bus, and having a general person module for supporting confirmation of operation information of a bus to be used; and a bus operation guide management server for storing operation information of a bus transmitted through the communications network from the driver module of the driver smartphone, and providing operation information of a bus requested from the general person module for the general person smartphone through the communications network. According to the bus operation information providing system using a smartphone, it is possible to provide an advantage of mitigating burden of construction costs of a system by enabling collection of bus location information by using a smartphone.

    본 발명은 스마트폰을 활용한 버스 운행정보 제공 시스템에 관한 것으로서, 버스를 운행하는 운전자에 의해 이용되며 GPS수신기를 통해 수신된 버스 위치정보로부터 버스의 운행정보를 생성하여 통신망을 통해 송출하는 운전자용 모듈이 설치된 운전자 스마트폰과, 버스를 이용하는 승객에 의해 이용되며 이용하고자 하는 버스의 운행정보를 확인할 수 있도록 지원하는 일반인용 모듈이 설치된 일반인 스마트폰과, 운전자 스마트폰의 운전자용 모듈로부터 통신망을 통해 송출되는 버스의 운행정보를 저장처리하고, 일반인 스마트폰의 일반인용 모듈로부터 요청되는 버스의 운행정보를 통신망을 통해 제공하는 버스 운행 안내 관리서버를 구비한다. 이러한 스마트폰을 활용한 버스 운행정보 제공 시스템에 의하면 스마트폰을 활용하여 버스위치정보의 수집이 가능함으로써 시스템의 구축비용부담을 완화시킬수 있는 장점을 제공한다.
