According to the present invention, as a shape memory alloy is used as an operating means to operate an actual flap, without additional energy, in accordance with a temperature of cooling water in a radiator, the flap is automatically opened and closed to improve fuel efficiency. More specifically, according to the present invention, the shape memory alloy is formed to be opened and closed in proportion to a temperature of cooling water passing through the radiator. Therefore, the operating means is formed to have a function of an actuator and a detection means. Moreover, according to the present invention, as the operating means manufactured by the shape memory alloy is formed to be bent more than a predetermined temperature range, the operating means is operated in proportion to a temperature change of cooling water to automatically adjust an opening and closing degree of the flap.

    본 발명은 실제 플랩을 작동하게 하는 작동 수단으로 형상 기억 합금을 이용하므로, 전원과 같은 별도의 에너지를 사용하지 않으면서도 라디에이터 안의 냉각수 온도에 따라 플랩이 자동으로 개폐할 수 있게 하여 자동차 연비를 높일 수 있다. 특히, 본 발명은 형상 기억 합금이 라디에이터를 통과하는 냉각수 온도에 비례하여 개폐할 수 있게 구성하므로, 작동 수단이 액추에이터와 검출 수단의 기능을 함께 할 수 있게 구성한다. 또한, 본 발명은 이처럼 형상 기억 합금으로 제작한 작동 수단을 통해 미리 정한 온도 범위 이상에서 휘어지게 구성하므로, 냉각수의 온도 변화에 따라 비례하여 작동 수단이 동작하여 플랩의 개폐 정도를 자동으로 조절할 수 있게 구성한다.
