Disclosed are a method and a device for predicting a driving distance of an electric vehicle. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a driving path and a driving pattern are input and first coefficients according to a road environment and a driving situation are determined based on the driving path and the driving pattern. Also, preset second coefficients are obtained according to unique properties of an electric vehicle and the first coefficients and the second coefficients are applied to an electric vehicle power consumption model, thereby predicting a driving distance of the electric vehicle.

    전기 자동차의 주행거리 예측 방법 및 장치가 개시된다. 일 실시예에 따르면, 주행 경로 및 주행 패턴이 입력되고, 주행 경로 및 주행 패턴에 기초하여 도로환경 및 주행상황에 따른 제1 계수들이 결정되며, 전기자동차 고유의 특성에 따라 기 설정된 제2 계수들을 획득하며, 제1 계수들 및 제2 계수들을 전기자동차 전력 소모 모델에 적용함으로써 전기자동차의 주행거리가 예측된다.
