The present invention relate to a system and a method for preventing unexpected vehicle accident by adapting a light fidelity (LiFi), which is a communication technique using light and a transport protocol expert group (TPEG) technology, which is an international standard for transporting travel information. In order to prevent a collision of a vehicle travelling on a road due to an unexpected situation caused by sudden stoppage of a vehicle ahead, the vehicle subject to the unexpected situation or vehicles receiving information about the unexpected situation transmit information about the unexpected situation in a TPEG message format to other vehicles through the LiFi scheme, thereby preventing a collision accident of the vehicle.

    본 발명은 빛을 이용한 통신기술인 LiFi(Light Fidelity)와 교통여행정보를 전송하기 위한 국제표준인 TPEG(Transport Protocol Export Group) 기술을 이용하여 도로주행 시 돌발상황에 의한 추돌사고를 방지하기 위한 것으로, 자동차가 도로를 주행하던 중 전방 차량의 급정거 등으로 인한 돌발상황에 의한 추돌사고 방지하기 위하여 해당 돌발상황이 발생된 차량이나 이 상황을 전달받은 차량들이 LiFi 방식으로 주변차량들을 대상으로 TPEG 메시지 포맷으로 돌발상황에 대한 정보를 전송함으로써 추돌사고를 방지할 수 있도록 하는 LiFi와 TPEG 기술을 적용한 차량 돌발사고 방지 시스템 및 그 방법에 관한 것이다.
