The present invention relates to an apparatus for determining abnormality of a railway vehicle, and a method for determining abnormality of a railway vehicle. The present invention discriminates presence or absence of the railway vehicle based on a result of comparing an actual disturbance value observed with the railway vehicle due to topographical factors at an operating position of the railway vehicle and a reference disturbance value stored in association with a driving position. Therefore, the present invention proposes the apparatus for determining abnormality of a railway vehicle and a method for determining abnormality of a railway vehicle capable of discriminating the abnormality of a railway vehicle without any additional sensor or device in the railway car.

    본 발명은 철도차량의 운행 위치에서의 지형적 요인으로 인해 상기 철도차량에 미치게 되는 저항력을 관측한 실측 외란 값과, 상기 운행 위치와 관련하여 기 저장되어 있는 기준 외란 값을 상호 비교한 결과 값을 기초로 철도차량의 이상 유무를 판별함으로써, 철도차량에 추가적인 센서 또는 장치 없이도 철도차량의 이상 유무를 판별할 수 있는 철도차량이상판별장치 및 철도차량 이상 판별 방법을 제안한다.
