The present invention relates to an electric vehicle for adjusting a charging termination time based on a state of charge (SOC) of a battery. According to a favorable embodiment of the present invention, a battery charging control apparatus of the electric vehicle comprises: a target setting unit for setting a target condition for terminating charging before a battery of the electric vehicle is completely charged; a monitoring unit for comparing the target condition with an SOC of the battery; and a control unit for terminating battery charging by stopping a charging operation of a charging module when the SOC matches the target condition.

    본 발명은 배터리 충전상태에 따라 충전종료 시기를 조절하는 전기자동차에 관한 것이다. 바람직한 실시예에서 본 발명은 전기자동차의 배터리가 완전히 충전되기 전에 충전을 종료시키는 목표조건을 설정하는 목표설정부, 상기 목표조건과 배터리의 충전상태(State Of Charge: SOC)를 비교하는 모니터링부, 및 상기 충전상태가 상기 목표조건과 일치하면 충전모듈의 충전동작을 중지하여 배터리 충전을 종료시키는 제어부를 포함한다.
