The present invention relates to an electromechanical braking system for a railway vehicle, and more specifically, to an electromechanical braking system for a railway vehicle, which is able to perform a braking operation even when power is not supplied in an emergency situation and is able to generate an appropriate braking force using a minimum amount of electric power even through using a braking actuator using a motor. To this end, according to the present invention, the electromechanical braking system for a railway vehicle comprises: a braking actuator operated by a motor; a braking actuator controller controlling the braking actuator; a braking electronic control unit (ECU) transmitting a control signal to the braking actuator controller; and a power supply device supplying power to the braking actuator and braking electronic control unit (ECU).

    본 발명은 철도차량용 전기기계식 제동시스템에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 모터를 이용하는 제동 엑츄에이터를 사용하면서도, 비상시에 전원이 공급되지 않더라도 안정적으로 제동 작용을 수행할 수 있으며, 최소한의 전력을 사용하여 적절한 제동력을 발생시킬 수 있는 철도차량용 전기기계식 제동시스템에 관한 것이다. 상기한 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명은 모터로 작동되는 제동 엑츄에이터와, 상기 제동 엑츄에이터를 제어하는 제동 엑츄에이터 제어기와, 상기 제동 엑츄에이터 제어기에 제어신호를 전송하는 제동 전자제어장치(ECU)와, 차량전원으로부터 전원을 공급받아 제동 엑츄에이터, 제동 엑츄에이터 제어기, 제동 전자제어장치(ECU)로 전원을 공급하는 전원공급장치로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 한다.
