The present invention relates to an obstacle sensing system, comprising: a sensor for receiving a detection signal from a direction that the detection signal is transmitted to output a sensing value; a comparison unit for comparing the sensing value with a first reference value for sensing a first obstacle having a preset first height and a second reference value for sensing a second obstacle having a second height higher than the first height; and a sensing unit for sensing distance information from an obstacle based on an exceeded reach time that is a time required for the detection signal to be transmitted and the sensing value to exceed the first reference value if it is determined that the sensing value exceeds the first reference value and the second reference value, and sensihan ng distance information from an obstacle based on the exceeded reach time and a gain value set to be greater tzero and less than one if it is determined that the sensing value exceeds the first reference value only.

    본 발명은 탐지신호가 송신된 방향으로부터 탐지신호를 수신하여 센싱값을 출력하는 센서와; 센싱값을 미리 설정된 제1높이를 갖는 제1장애물을 감지하기 위한 제1기준값 및 제1높이보다 높은 제2높이를 갖는 제2장애물을 감지하기 위한 제2기준값과 비교하는 비교부와; 센싱값이 제1기준값 및 제2기준값을 초과하는 것으로 판단되면 탐지신호가 송신되어 센싱값이 제1기준값을 초과하는데 소요되는 시간인 초과도달시간에 기초하여 장애물과의 거리정보를 감지하고, 센싱값이 제1기준값만을 초과하는 것으로 판단되면 초과도달시간 및 0(Zero)을 초과하되 1(One) 미만으로 설정된 게인값에 기초하여 장애물과의 거리정보를 감지하는 감지부를 포함하는 장애물 감지 시스템에 관한 것이다.
