An embodiment of the present invention provides a non-aqueous electrolyte battery showing excellent durability at high temperature. The non-aqueous electrolyte battery comprises a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a non-aqueous electrolyte. The negative electrode includes a negative electrode current collector and a negative electrode composite layer disposed on the negative electrode current collector. The negative electrode composite layer is composed of titanium-containing metal oxide particles, which absorb and discharge lithium ions, and a binder including an acryl-based resin. The titanium-containing metal oxide particle has a phase including a carbon material on at least some of the surface. The negative electrode is formed according to formula (I), α / β > 6, wherein α represents the peel strength (kN/m) between the current collector and the negative electrode composite layer measured by a surface-interface cutting method and β represents cutting strength (kN/m) in the negative electrode composite layer measured by a surface-interface cutting method.
