The present invention provides an overloaded vehicle detecting system which comprises: a photographing unit configured to photograph a wheel portion of a target vehicle which is driven or stopped; a DB configured to store a variety of initial specification information with respect to the vehicle in case of vehicle release; and an overload determining unit configured to determine whether the vehicle is overloaded based on photographing information, inputted from the photographing unit, and the specification information. Therefore, traffic congestion can be prevented in a series of processes for determining whether an overload target vehicle is overloaded.

    본 발명은, 주행 중이거나 또는 정차 중인 대상 차량의 바퀴부를 촬영하는 촬영부; 상기 차량 출고 시의 상기 차량에 관한 각종 초기 스펙정보가 저장되는 DB; 및 상기 촬영부로부터 입력되는 촬영정보와 상기 스펙정보에 기반하여 상기 차량의 과적 여부를 판단하는 과적 판단부를 포함하는 과적 차량 적발 시스템 을 제공한다. 따라서, 과적 대상 차랑의 과적 여부 판단을 위한 일련의 과정에서, 교통 체중이 유발되는 예방할 수 있다.
