The present invention relates to a combustion air cooling system for a vessel engine, which cools combustion air of an engine in accordance with a principle in which engine efficiency is improved when the temperature of air necessary for combustion of a fuel in the engine of a vessel is low. According to the present invention, the combustion air cooling system for a vessel engine includes: one or more first coolers cooling and circulating clean water used in the vessel; a central clean water cooling system for a vessel, including multiple seawater pumps supplying seawater to the first cooler as a coolant cooling the clean water, and multiple clean water pumps supplying the clean water cooled in the first cooler to a demand place in the vessel; a combustion air cooler cooling the combustion air of the engine by using at least a part of the clean water pumped by the clean water pump as cooling water; a first circulation line circulating the cooling water discharged after cooling the combustion air, to the first cooler; and a second circulation line circulating the cooling water discharged after cooling the combustion air, to a second cooler.

    본 발명은 선박의 엔진에서 연료의 연소에 필요한 공기의 온도가 낮으면 엔진 효율이 향상되는 원리에 따라 엔진의 연소공기를 냉각시키는 시스템에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 선박용 엔진 연소공기 냉각 시스템은, 선박에서 사용되는 청수를 냉각 및 순환시키는 하나 이상의 제1 쿨러; 상기 제1 쿨러로 청수를 냉각시키는 냉매로써 해수를 공급하는 다수개의 해수펌프; 및 상기 제1 쿨러에서 냉각된 청수를 선박 내 수요처로 공급하는 다수개의 청수펌프;를 포함하는 선박의 중앙 청수 냉각 시스템;이 마련되고, 상기 청수펌프에 의해 펌핑된 청수 중 적어도 일부를 냉각수로 하여 엔진 연소공기를 냉각시키는 연소공기 쿨러; 상기 연소공기를 냉각시킨 후 배출되는 냉각수를 상기 제1 쿨러로 순환시키는 제1 순환라인; 및 상기 연소공기를 냉각시킨 후 배출되는 냉각수를 제2 쿨러로 순환시키는 제2 순환라인;을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
