According to one aspect of the present invention, a wearable device comprises: a communication portion for performing communication with a vehicle; a detection portion for detecting biometric information of a user; and a control portion for performing a power-saving mode after receiving speed information of the vehicle through the communication portion, converting into a normal mode after receiving primary determination information regarding drowsy driving through the communication while performing the power-saving mode, secondarily determining whether or not a driver is drowsy driving based on biometric information detected in the normal mode, and performing control to transmit secondary determination information regarding drowsy driving to the vehicle when the driver is secondarily determined to be drowsy driving. When the wearable device receives the secondary information regarding drowsy driving, the vehicle outputs alarming information.

    본 발명의 일 측면에 따른 웨어러블 디바이스는 차량과 통신을 수행하는 통신부; 사용자의 생체 정보를 검출하는 검출부; 통신부를 통해 차량의 속도 정보가 수신되면 절전 모드를 수행하고, 절전 모드의 수행 중 통신부를 통해 졸음 운전 1차 판정 정보가 수신되면 일반 모드로 전환하고, 일반 모드 시에 검출된 생체 정보에 기초하여 졸음 운전 여부를 2차로 판단하고, 졸음 운전으로 2차 판정되면 차량에 졸음 운전 2차 판정 정보를 송신하도록 제어하는 제어부를 포함한다.
