According to the present invention, a hybrid power system for an unmanned aerial vehicle comprises: a fuel cell generating electric energy to provide propulsion required for a flight of an unmanned aerial vehicle; a DC-DC boost converter connected to an output terminal of the fuel cell to boost a direct current voltage outputted from the fuel cell; a battery connected to an output terminal of the DC-DC boost converter to store the electric energy to provide propulsion required for the flight of the unmanned aerial vehicle; and an unmanned aerial vehicle driving unit connected to the output terminal of the DC-DC boost converter and the output terminal of the battery, receiving electric energy respectively from the DC-DC boost converter and the battery, and converting the electric energy into mechanical energy to generate propulsion required for the flight of the unmanned aerial vehicle. According to the present invention, since the fuel cell and the battery can supply electric energy together to the unmanned aerial vehicle driving unit which generates propulsion required for the flight of the unmanned aerial vehicle, it is possible to greatly increase the flight time of the unmanned aerial vehicle while minimizing the increase in size or weight of the unmanned aerial vehicle.

    본 발명에 따른 무인항공기용 하이브리드 전력 시스템은, 무인항공기의 비행에 필요한 추진력을 제공하기 위한 전기에너지를 생성하는 연료전지; 상기 연료전지의 출력단에 연결되어, 상기 연료전지가 출력하는 직류전압을 승압시키는 DC-DC 부스트 컨버터; 상기 DC-DC 부스트 컨버터의 출력단에 연결되며, 상기 무인항공기의 비행에 필요한 추진력을 제공하기 위한 전기에너지가 저장된 배터리; 및 상기 DC-DC 부스트 컨버터의 출력단 및 상기 배터리의 출력단에 연결되며, 상기 DC-DC 부스트 컨버터 및 상기 배터리로부터 각각 전기에너지를 공급받아, 상기 전기에너지를 기계적 에너지로 변환하여 상기 무인항공기의 비행에 필요한 추진력을 발생시키는 무인항공기 구동부;를 포함하여 구성될 수 있다. 본 발명에 의하면, 연료전지와 배터리가 무인항공기의 비행에 필요한 추진력을 발생시키는 무인항공기 구동부에 전기에너지를 함께 공급할 수 있기 때문에, 무인항공기의 크기나 무게 증가는 최소화하면서도 무인항공기의 비행시간은 크게 늘릴 수 있게 된다.
