The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for forcibly inducing a driver for a vehicle. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for forcibly inducing a driver for a vehicle comprises: a step of calculating a first travelable distance of the vehicle under an assumption that a fuel tank is full of fuel based on an average fuel consumption amount of the vehicle; a step of calculating a second travelable distance of the vehicle at a level of residual area based on a level of urea in a urea tank; and a step of controlling a display device to display the second travelable distance when the first travelable distance is equal to or greater than the second travelable distance. Thus, provided are the method and the apparatus for forcibly inducing a driver to inject urea when urea in the urea tank is insufficient.

    본 발명은 차량의 운전자 강제 유도 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 차량의 운전자 강제 유도 방법은, 차량의 평균 연료 소모량을 기초로 연료 탱크 내에 연료가 가득한 상태를 가정한 상태에서의 차량의 제1 주행 가능 거리를 계산하는 단계; 요소 탱크 내의 요소의 레벨을 기초로 잔여 요소 레벨에서의 차량의 제2 주행 가능 거리를 계산하는 단계; 및 상기 제1 주행 가능 거리가 상기 제2 주행 가능 거리 이상이면, 상기 제2 주행 가능 거리를 표시하도록 표시 장치의 작동을 제어하는 단계;를 포함할 수 있다.
