안벽(11)에 부착되는 방현재(10)는 선박의 접현시의 충격을 완화하기 위한 완충부(12)와, 완충부(12)를 안벽(11)에 부착하기 위한 안벽 고정부(14a, 14b)를 구비하고 있다. 또 안벽 고정부(14a, 14b)는 철 재료보다 높은 방청성을 가지는 고정 부재(18a, 18b)를 포함한다. 또한 안벽 고정부(14a, 14b)는 방현재(10)를 안벽(11)에 부착하기 위한 볼트를 삽입통과시키기 위한 관통 구멍(16a~16d)을 구비한다. 이렇게 하여 구성하면 고정 부재(18a, 18b)가 철 재료보다 높은 방청성을 가지므로, 고정 부재(18a, 18b)의 표면 및 고정 부재(18a, 18b)를 관통하는 관통 구멍(16a~16d)이 외부에 노출되어 있는 상태에 있어도 녹의 발생이 경감된다.

    A fender (10) mounted on a quay (11) includes a buffer portion (12) for relieving an impact at the time of mooring of a ship and a quay fixing portion (14a, 14b) for mounting the buffer portion (12) on the quay (11). The quay fixing portion (14a, 14b) includes a fixing member (18a, 18b) having higher rust preventiveness than an iron material. Further, the quay fixing portion (14a, 14b) includes a through-hole (16a to 16d) for inserting a bolt for mounting the fender (10) on the quay (11). When structuring the fender in this manner, the fixing member (18a, 18b) has higher rust preventiveness than an iron material, whereby rusting is suppressed also in such a state that the surface of the fixing member (18a, 18b) and the through-hole (16a to 16d) passing through the fixing member (18a, 18b) are exposed to the exterior.
