Disclosed are a system of controlling starting torque of a hybrid vehicle capable of improving fuel efficiency, and a method thereof. The system of controlling starting torque of a hybrid vehicle comprises: an operation information detecting unit detecting information on a vehicle operation of a driver and an engine temperature; a hybrid starter generator (HSG) operating an engine by generating starting torque according to an applied control signal; and a hybrid controller applying the driving torque of the HSG for an operation point of the engine temperature to the HSG based on an HSG torque curve for each the stored engine temperatures.

    하이브리드 차량 시동토크 제어 시스템 및 그 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 하이브리드 차량 시동토크 제어 시스템은, 운전자의 차량 조작정보 및 엔진온도를 검출하는 운전정보 검출부; 인가되는 제어신호에 따른 시동토크를 발생하여 엔진을 시동시키는 HSG(Hybrid Starter Generator); 운전자 요구토크 또는 배터리 충전상태(SOC)에 따른 엔진 시동을 결정하고, 저장된 엔진온도 별 HSG 토크곡선을 참조하여 상기 엔진온도의 운전점에 따른 HSG 구동토크를 상기 HSG로 인가하는 하이브리드 제어기를 포함한다.
