The present invention relates to an apparatus for preventing vortex induced vibration (VIV), which is installed in a structure (10) to prevent vibration. The apparatus for preventing vortex induced vibration comprises: multiple hanging parts (20) which are detachably coupled to the structure (10); tension members (30) which are installed to connect the hanging parts (20) to each other; and a control member (40) which is installed to change the tension applied to the tension members (30). Thus, the present invention reduces vibration by a change in resonance conditions by changing the natural frequency of a truss type offshore structure where VIV is generated, thereby improving the rigidity and stability of the structure.

    본 발명은 구조물(10)에 설치되어 진동을 방지하는 장치에 있어서: 상기 구조물(10)에 착탈 가능하게 결합되는 복수의 걸이부(20); 상기 걸이부(20) 사이를 연결하도록 설치되는 장력부재(30); 및 상기 장력부재(30)에 작용하는 장력을 변동하도록 설치되는 조절부재(40);를 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 한다. 이에 따라, VIV가 발생하는 트러스 방식 해양구조물에 있어 고유진동수를 변화시켜 공진조건을 변화에 의한 진동감소로 구조체의 강성 및 안정성을 향상시키는 효과가 있다.
