송전 코일(14)을 갖는 송전 장치(10a), 수전 코일(41)을 갖는 수전 장치(40)를 구비한다. 그리고, 송전 코일(14)로부터 수전 코일(41)로 비접촉으로 전력을 송전하고, 수전 장치(40)에 탑재된 배터리(44)에 전력을 공급한다. 송전 장치(10a)는, 송전 전력 명령값에 기초하여, 송전 코일(14)에 공급하는 전력을 제어하는 제어량 연산부(29)를 구비한다. 수전 장치(40)는, 전기 부하에 공급되는 전력과 송전 전력 명령값으로부터 송전 효율을 연산하는 효율 연산부(55), 배터리(44)로의 전력의 공급, 정지를 전환하는 릴레이(47)와, 송전 효율이 임계값 효율 이하로 된 경우에, 릴레이(47)를 차단하여 전력의 공급을 정지하는 릴레이 제어부(54)를 갖는다. 제어량 연산부(29)는, 송전 코일(14)에 흐르는 전류가 임계값 전류를 상회한 경우에, 출력 전력을 억제하는 제어를 행한다.

    A wireless power supply system includes a power transmission device (10a) having a power transmission coil (14) and a power receiving device (40) having a power receiving coil (41). The power transmission coil (14) transmits electric power to the power receiving coil (41) via a wireless connection, so as to supply the electric power to a battery (44) installed in the power receiving device (40). The power transmission device (10a) includes a control amount calculator (29) configured to control electric power supplied to the power transmission coil (14) according to a transmission power command value. The power receiving device (40) includes an efficiency calculator (55) configured to calculate a power transmission efficiency based on the electric power supplied to the electrical load and the transmission power command value, a relay (47) configured to switch between supply and stop of the electric power with respect to the battery (44), and a relay controller (54) configured to cut off the relay (47) to stop supplying the electric power when the power transmission efficiency falls to a threshold efficiency or less. The control amount calculator (29) regulates the output power when a current flowing through the power transmission coil (14) exceeds a threshold current.
